Notel is a collaboration between Portland, OR based musicians Peter Condra (Magic Mouth), Becky Miller (EMA, Top Parts), Lorna Dune (JD Samson, Victoire), Emily Kingan (Lovers). Their 2019 debut release
Stranger Wave EP was written with film genres and narratives as primary considerations in each song, cycling through film noir, fantasy, sci-fi, and horror. Stranger Wave EP was recorded and mixed by engineer Jeff Bond (Y La Bamba, Chanti Darling, Boone Howard) at Map Room Studios and mastered by Keith Milgaten.
